Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1217151A1] The profile for a lock key has opposing ribs and grooves in the middle area of the cross section between the key back and breast. Both sides of the profile form a variation profile locking heirarchy. Each flank of the key shaft has a nut (1,2) and rib with different tip angles (Alpha 1,2). The nuts and ribs can be formed with rear cut formations.
