[origin: WO0122906A1] The invention relates to an antiglare device containing an active filter element (11) with an influenceable light transmission, for example, a liquid crystal cell. The inventive device also contains an electronic circuit (3) for evaluating the output signal of a light sensor (5) and for controlling the filter element (11). Said circuit (3) is mounted on the inner surface (22) of a printed circuit board (2). A shielding element (4) comprised of an electrically conductive material for shielding a part (31) of the electronic circuit (3) against electromagnetic radiation is fastened to the same inner surface (22). Thanks to the shielding element (4), the evaluating circuit (31) can be configured so that it is extremely sensitive without the risk of it being excessively disturbed by electromagnetic influences. The shielding element (4) keeps both interfering electromagnetic influences, which come from the surroundings (91) of the antiglare device, as well as interfering electromagnetic influences, which arise in the antiglare device itself, away from the evaluating circuit (31).
