[origin: EP1092490A1] Continuous casting machine comprises casting rolls (22,24) positioned on a frame (32). The rolls and the frame can be moved on rails (48) from a casting position to a servicing position. The frame is moved with the rolls around a distance away from the casting position so that a second frame with casting rolls can be moved into the casting position. An Independent claim is also included for a process for controlling a continuous casting machine. Preferred Features: The frame can be moved together with a housing (30) surrounding the frame. Wheels (37) running on the rails are connected to the housing.
