Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0048865A1] A device for securing one or more load units (6) that include a loop or an eye (16), for instance carrier bags, in the baggage stowage space (2) of a vehicle, such as a car, said space having an opening (3) and coaming (4) that extends around at least a part of the perimeter of said opening (3), and a hatch cover or boot lid (5) that seals against the coaming when closed. The device is comprised of at least one springy elastic body (20) that has two legs (21) and a through-passing recess (22) defined by said legs. The body is intended to be fitted to the coaming with the coaming received in said recess, and the device further includes an elongate flexible load securing element which is intended to be threaded through the loop or eye (16) of said load unit, wherewith at least one end part (18) of the load securing element is connected to a body (20) or can releasably be anchored thereto by being clamped in or against said body when the lid or hatch (5) is closed.
