Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0124210A2] The invention relates to a drive for circuit breakers forming part of a circuit breaking system, especially an air-insulated intermediate voltage circuit breaking system, consisting of vacuum circuit breakers which are disposed in a plug-in disconnector unit. The vacuum circuit breakers are integral with the pole module which can be displaced by a disconnector drive so that disconnection can occur. The breaker mechanism is provided with a controllable drive shaft, whereby the rotational displacement thereof is transmitted by drive levers to a radially displaceable control shaft which is connected to a number of horizontally displaceable push rods corresponding to the number of phases which are to be switched. Each push rod vertically displaces a respectively displaceable contact element of the vacuum circuit breaker by means of an articulated lever which is mounted at a fixed pivoting point. The push rods (SS... ) are arranged behind each other in between the drive levers (MH... ) of the control shaft (SW...) in such a way that the control shaft (SW) is alternately subjected to the effects of traction and pressure or vice versa when the displaceable contact elements of the vacuum circuit breaker (VS ) are switched, whereby the tubular drive plane (R3) is offset at an angle of 90 DEG with respect to the plane of the pole module (PE).
