Abstract (en)
An apparatus for manufacturing a grooved-inner-surface heat transfer tube comprises; a fin roll 24 and a receiving roll 26 for rolling W-shaped fins 2 by clamping a metallic plate material T and rolling, a plurality of forming rolls 30 for forming the plate material formed with the fins 2 into a tube such that the fins 2 are positioned on the inside, and a welding mechanism 32, 34 and 36 for heating opposite edges of the plate material which has been formed into a tube and abuts together and welds. The fin roll 24 comprises a plurality of coaxially arranged divided rolls 24B to 24E with fin rolling grooves 25 formed in an outer peripheral surface, and these divided rolls are diffusion bonded to each other. <IMAGE>
