Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1219769A2] A control rod (6) is guided linearly relative to a part (M) of the door in combination with the lock fittings controlled by the cylinder (2). The rod is coupled to the bolt (1) at each of its ends by a connecting rod (10) able to pivot on two square lugs (11). One lug is integral with the control rod and the other integral with the vertical bolt so as to be angularly deformed under the linear displacement of the control rod and cause retraction of the bolt. The lugs and the connecting rod are opposite and coaxially aligned when the bolt is engaged in the strike plate.
