[origin: EP1219898A1] The block forming part of a grate is for an installation for thermic processing of waste material and comprises a body (2) as a cast part, which is provided with an upper locating surface (8) for the waste material to be processed. With the block body a lower holding part (15) is releasably connectable. Through the connection of these two parts, at least one cooling component (10), which has a cooling channel (11) connected to a cooling water system, is fixable.
