Abstract (en)

Method for fabricating a structure involves: forming on a substrate, first insulating layer, first level of metallization, second insulating layer and second level of metallization; opening first and second windows; forming third windows; engraving first level of metallization; engraving first insulating layer and simultaneously eliminating second insulating layer inside contour of second windows. A method for the fabrication of a structure consists of: (a) forming on a substrate (1) a pile of a first insulating layer (7), a first level of metallization (6), a second insulating layer (8) and a second level of metallization (9); (b) opening, in the second level of metallization and the second insulating layer, some first windows corresponding to the contour of the first openings and some second windows of which the external contour corresponds to the internal contour of the second openings; (c) forming in a masking layer (20) some third windows overlapping the first windows: (d) engraving the first level of metallization under the masking layer up to the internal periphery of the second windows; (e) engraving to a chosen distance the first insulating layer and simultaneously eliminating the second insulating layer inside the contour of the second windows; (f) and eliminating the masking layer.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une structure comprenant les étapes consistant à former sur le substrat un empilement d'une première couche isolante (7), d'un premier niveau de métallisation (6), d'une deuxième couche isolante (8) et d'un deuxième niveau de métallisation (9), ouvrir dans le deuxième niveau de métallisation et la deuxième couche isolante des premières fenêtres (11) correspondant au contour des premières ouvertures et des deuxièmes fenêtres (12) dont le contour externe correspond au contour interne des deuxièmes ouvertures, former dans une couche de masquage (20) des troisièmes fenêtres débordant par rapport aux premières fenêtres, graver le premier niveau de métallisation dans les premières fenêtres, éliminer le deuxième niveau de métallisation (9) sous la couche de masquage jusqu'à la périphérie interne des deuxièmes fenêtres, graver d'une distance choisie la première couche isolante (7) et éliminer simultanément la deuxième couche isolante (8) à l'intérieur du contour des deuxièmes fenêtres, éliminer la couche de masquage. <IMAGE>
