A digital TV broadcast receiver, a remote operation terminal, a remote operation assistance system, a remote operation assistance method and a storage medium, are provided which are suitable for controlling various operations of the broadcast receiver from a remote site such as an outdoor place. The digital TV broadcast receiver has: a tuner (101) for receiving control data multiplexed to transport stream data transmitted from a broadcaster in response to a control request from a remote terminal; a demultiplexer (103) for deriving program information data from the control data; a second user interface screen structure unit (119) for structuring a second user operation assistance screen in accordance with the program information data; and a system control unit (114) for controlling to transmit data of the second user operation assistance screen to the remote terminal in response to a control request. <IMAGE>
