The circular track(14) of the paternoster lift in the region of the floor levels(16,18) is at least partially guided horizontally. The transporting units are constructed as lift cars(12) and distributed on the track. The track has at least two chains or cables by which the lift cars are guided in such a way that their bottoms(20) are always in a horizontal position. The track has one or two rollers on the circumference or centrally for guiding of the lift cars.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Umlaufaufzug, der mindestens zwei geführten Transporteinrichtungen entlang einer Umlaufbahn sowie mindestens zwei Geschloßebenen für den Einstieg und den Ausstieg aus der Transporteinrichtung aufweist. Die Umlaufbahn (14) führt die Geschloßebenen (16, 18) mindestens teilweise im Wesentlichen horizontal. <IMAGE>
