[origin: DE10100034A1] The support point for a railway rail (12), particularly for a rail section in the area of a bridge seam, involves the rail having a rail head (14), a rail rib (16) with fishplate chambers (18,20) and a rail foot (22), together with a support (24,26) evolving from a base (60) and running along each long side. The support comprises a part (30,32) supported in the fishplate chambers (18,20) together with a bearer part (34,36) spaced from the support part by a seam (33,35). The bearer part is indirectly or directly connected with the base. The support part is connected with the bearer part by a first elastic intermediate layer (42,44) filling out the seam.
