Abstract (en)
Ultrasonic converter for a motor vehicle comprises a housing (12) with a base part (14) and a receiving opening at least partly closed by a cover (16). The cover is rotatably connected to the base part by a flexible material bridge in one piece. Preferred Features: The cover is molded on the base part on one side by a film hinge (18) and held in a closed position preferably by a snap-in connection (22). The base part and the cover are designed as semicylindrical shells made of plastic, preferably by an injection molding process.

Ein Ultraschallwandler für ein Kraftfahrzeug umfasst ein Gehäuse (12) mit einem Basisteil (14) mit einer Aufnahmeöffnung (17), die durch eine Abdeckung (16) mindestens teilweise verschließbar ist. Um die Montage zu vereinfachen und sicherer zu gestalten, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Abdeckung (16) einstückig durch eine flexible Materialbrücke (18) mit dem Basisteil (14) verbunden ist.
