Abstract (en)
The method of lifting a cooker hood for cleaning involves uses a counterweight (6) and spring (6) fixed between the counterweight and a fixed point (7). A cable connects the counterweight and hood so that they lift and lower alternately. A lock (4) holds the hood in a selected position and, as the lock is released, the hood moves spontaneously due to the counterweight and spring arrangement. The lock can be controlled electrically (18). An Independent claim is include for a lift using the method.

Système de déplacement en translation d'un élément pesant, comprenant un contrepoids 5 et un ressort 6 solidaire à une extrémité du contrepoids 5 et à une autre extrémité d'un point fixe 7, un moyen de liaison entre le contrepoids 5 et l'élément de façon que l'élément s'élève lorsque le contrepoids 5 descend et vice versa, et un moyen de verrouillage 4 de l'élément dans une position déterminée, le ressort 6 et le contrepoids 5 étant dimensionnés de façon que, l'élément étant dans ladite position déterminée, le déverrouillage du moyen de verrouillage 4 provoque le déplacement de l'élément de ladite position déterminée vers une autre position. <IMAGE>
