Abstract (en)
In a process to transfer an incoming loose and weak web of non-woven staple fibre fleece from one roller drum to another, the fleece is held securely by air suction during take-up from the first drum and release to the second. Also claimed is an assembly in which a hot and loose fleece web is simultaneously cooled by air during the transfer process. The transfer is effected by a rotating sieve drum (19) from which air (26) is exhausted. The upper side of the drum is covered by a cap (27).

Ein noch unverfestigtes oder nur geringfügig verfestigtes Stape(faservlies kann nicht ohne Unterstützung während des Transportes von dem Spalt eines Kalanderwalzenpaares an ein folgendes Endlosband übergeben werden. Dazu ist nach der Erfindung ein ständig tragendes, umlaufendes Element (19) wie Endlosband oder Siebtrommel vorgesehen, das jeweils von unten in Richtung des Elementes durchströmt werden soll. Dies ermöglicht gleichzeitig einen Kühleffekt. <IMAGE>
