Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0828026A1] A method to clean a primary fibre suspension, such as chemical cellulose or a mechanical wood pulp, after the bleaching stage (4') or a bleaching sequence (4,4'), comprises passing the suspension (S) to a flotation stage (7). Air is passed in to form a foam (F), where at least part of the impurities are concentrated to be extracted with the foam.
