[origin: EP1223263A2] The connector comprises a disc-form connecting piece(9) which has a through-hole for location of a screw, and a cut-out which may a hole or slot for the clamp fitting of an intermediate element(7,8). The hole to accept the screw may be threaded. The end face of the connecting piece facing away from the cut-out has in the region of the through-hole a recess for the head of the screw. The connecting piece, via the screw, can be connected to an additional connecting piece with a threaded hole.
