Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1223308A2] The cooling component for a flow machine, and especially a turbine paddle, has a channel (9,10) to carry a coolant flow with at least one deflection formed by the channel walls (11,12), so that the coolant flows from one channel section into the next downstream channel section. At least one flow guide (8) is at the deflection, to divide the deflected coolant flow into an inner (13) and an outer (14) channel. The flow through the inner channel is restricted by a narrow cross section.
