[origin: DE19951063A1] In an amalgam substitute, containing a sealing system (I) capable of adhering to dentine and a filling material (II) suitable for dental restoration, (I) and/or (II) contains a component (III) that reduces hardening of the other component by disturbing the hardening mechanism only in the interface between (I) and (II), so that the adhesion between (I) and (II) is less than the adhesion of (I) to the dentine. An Independent claim is also included for a kit comprising this filling system.
