[origin: DE19949222A1] The aim of the invention is to adjust a residual air gap (a) between an anchor (18) and a pole piece (12) of a magnetic valve (10). To this end, the magnetic valve (10) is partially assembled in such a way that a tappet (14) can still be accessed. The tappet (14) is pressed into a closing position against a valve seat (26) and an axial stopper (20) of the tappet (14) is formed by means of a sonotrode (58) and ultrasound treatment for instance to such an extend that the stopper (20) protrudes from the pole piece (12) by the desired residual air gap.
