[origin: WO0131141A1] Joint bridging device for floors, especially for bridging joints in a parquet floor in which opposite joint edges are located at different heights. Said device comprises a base profile (2) for fixing to the floor with at least one limb (4.1, 4.2) projecting upward into the joint, a covering profile (5) for covering the joint with at least one limb (10.1, 10.2) projecting downward into the joint, in addition to a fixing element (11) for height-adjustably fixing the covering profile (5) on the base profile (2), whereby at least one intermediate part (7) is arranged between the base profile (2) and the covering profile (5) with the purpose of expanding height adjustability while the intermediate part (7) is fixed by its bottom side to the base profile (2) and to the covering profile (5) by its upper side.
