[origin: DE19951577A1] A dual-mass flywheel (1) for internal combustion engines has flywheel ring (3) on the input side and a flywheel ring (5) on the output side which are mounted concentrically in relation to one another, are interconnected via a torque transmitting torsion spring (7) and can only rotate in a restricted manner in relation to one another. The flywheel (3) on the input side is connected to a hub part (22) of a vibration damper (21), which can be adapted to the rotational speed. Several damping masses (23) are mounted in said hub part (22), each of which can be pivoted about a pivoting axis that runs parallel to and at a distance from the rotational axis (2) of the flywheel.
