Abstract (en)
A bed (1) has a bed stand (3) with a bed frame (2) and a load bearing structure (10). The bed frame is made up of longitudinal (7) and crosswise (8) supports and has supplementary load bearing framework elements (9). The bed stand and bed frame are screwed or welded together. Bed frame supports (4) and support legs (11) are hollow tubular sections. A lifting device (15) with a motor and pistons raises and lowers the bed.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Bett (1) insbesondere ein Kranken- und/oder Pfiegebett, bestehend aus einem einen Bettrahmen (2) aufweisenden Bettgestell (3) und einem Traggestell (10) wobei der Bettrahmen aus Längs- (7) und Querträgern (8) gebildet ist. Um ein Bett zu schaffen, daß auf einfache und wirtschaftliche Weise herstellbar ist und zur Aufnahme auch schwergewichtiger Personen geeignet ist, wird vorgeschlagen, daß der Bettrahmen zusätzliche lastaufnehmende Fachwerkelemente (9) aufweist. <IMAGE>
