Abstract (en)
The bending machine comprises a bottom die (3) provided with two skates (6) located on either side of an axis of action (x-x) of a punch (1). Each skate (6) bears, on either side of an axis of oscillation of the skate (6), two idle wheels (5) predisposed to interact contactingly with a workpiece (4) to be bent during a pressing action of the punch (1). The machine enables sheet steel to be bent with a low energy consumption on the part of the punch (1) and with a low level of friction on the steel during the bending operation. <IMAGE>
