[origin: EP1225108A2] An automatic roller installation (8) for applying preservative to a motor vehicle has a row of variously staggered application rollers (2.1-2.5) each programmed to move on multiple axes and mounted on a roller slot (9) to move in a set direction (V). The rollers adjust in the slot movement in such a way that they roll over a whole vehicle outer surface under controlled roller pressure on tracks adjacent to each other.
