Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1225279A2] The road crossing at the permanent way of a railway track, as a level or grade crossing, is formed by a number of tightly packed longitudinal shaped bodies (2) within and outside the rails. They are locked together mechanically by clips (10). They allow the shaped bodies to be moved for adjustment along the line of the rails, to be secured at a suitable point to the rail sleepers (8).
