Abstract (en)
The high pressure fuel system, for an internal combustion motor, has at least two high pressure bodies (1,3) pressed together at their facing surfaces (10,12). A high pressure fuel channel (17) at the bodies, passes between their facing surfaces. One surface carries a ring step (5) around the fuel passage, with a sealing surface (15) at the end side at the other surface. At least one flank (7,9) of the ring step is at an angle ( alpha ) of ≥ 0 degrees to the normal of the sealing surface, to reduce the notch tension for increased stability.

In einem Kraftstoffhochdrucksystem sind wenigstens zwei Hochdruckkörper (1; 3) angeordnet. Die Hochdruckkörper (1;3) liegen mit jeweils an diesen ausgebildeten Anlageflächen (10; 12) aneinander an und werden durch eine Vorrichtung gegeneinander gepreßt. Ein Hochdruckkanal (17) ist in beiden Hochdruckkörpern (1; 3) ausgebildet und tritt dabei auch durch die Anlageflächen (10; 12) der Hochdruckkörper (1; 3) hindurch. An einer Anlagefläche (12) ist ein den Durchtritt des Hochdruckkanals (17) umgebender Ringsteg (5) angeordnet, dessen Stirnseite als Dichtfläche (15) ausgebildet ist. Die Dichtfläche (15) liegt flächig an der gegenüberliegenden Anlagefläche (10) an, so daß die Flächenpressung um den Durchtritt des Hochdruckkanals (17) erhöht ist und eine sichere Abdichtung des Hochdruckkanals (17) gewährleistet ist. Wenigstens eine der Flanken (7; 9) des Ringstegs (5) schließen mit der Normalen der Dichtfläche (15) einen Winkel (α) ein, so daß die Kerbspannungen reduziert und eine bessere Stabilität des Ringstegs (5) erreicht wird (Figur 1). <IMAGE>
