Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0132551A1] The invention relates to a tap device for containers, comprising an insert element (16) for tightly sealing the tap opening of the container, a tap pipe (36) which is mounted in the insert element (16) in such a way that it can be displaced between a transport position and a tap position, a tap (54) which is situated at an outer end of the tap pipe (54), an inlet opening (80) which is situated at an inner end of the tap pipe and which has means for preventing liquid from inside the container from entering when the tap pipe is in the transport position and which the liquid from inside the container can enter when the tap pipe is in its tap position. The aim of the invention is to improve a tap device of this type in such a way that it is suitable for a high pressure built up inside the container and in particular, in such a way that the inlet opening remains secured against incoming liquid from the inside of the container in the transport position, even with a high pressure building up inside the container. To this end, a sealing body (110) on the tap pipe seals the inlet opening (80) in the transport position and said sealing body (110) can be released from the tap pipe when the tap pipe (36) moves from the transport position into the tap position.
