[origin: WO0116417A1] The invention relates to a method of bonding polymer fibers into a nonwoven fabric and a nonwoven fabric manufactured with the aid thereof. According to the invention, the polymer fibers are subjected to hydroentangling, the polymer fibers at the moment of hydroentangling being imparted a temperature exceeding the glass transition temperature of the polymer fiber, but being less than its melting point.
