[origin: WO0133593A1] A compact-structure three-pole apparatus for medium-voltage electric stations, comprising a metal casing (33) inside which is in practice provided whatever is contained in an electric switchboard, with busbar section disconnector, vacuum circuit breaker, and earthing switch. An isolating switch (2), which functions as a line/earth changeover switch, is set in an environment protected with SF6 gas, whilst a vacuum circuit breaker (3), which is placed downstream of the isolating switch (2), enables use of the latter both as a line circuit breaker for protecting the line and as an earthing switch with closing capability.
