Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1226881A2] The produce are cut from their growth sites, after which the core of the produce is removed. The cored produce is positioned to allow its natural juices to exude from the coring site for a time sufficient to permit substantially all such free-flowing juices at or near the coring site to exude from the said site. The cored produce is then washed to remove the exuded juices.
