[origin: EP1227166A1] A grey gold alloy without nickel, cobalt, iron and silver comprises, by weight: (a) Au : 75 to 76 %; (b) Cu ≥ 17 %; (c) Mn less than 7 %; (d) Zn ≤ 2 %. This gold alloy may also contain, by weight: (a) Si ≤ 0.5 %; (b) at least one of the elements Ti less than 0.3 % or Ta less than 0.3 %; (c) 0 % Pd and at most 2 % Pt.
