Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1227205A1] The assembly component for fencing rails (1) and posts (2) consists of two metal trough-section elements (3, 4), especially with a curved cross-section, welded together at right angles so that one engages with rails and the other with the post. Each of the elements has an elongated slot (8) for a fixing bolt. The assembly component can be made in different shapes, e.g. a T-shape and an L-shape, and can be made to join rails set on top of or alongside posts.
