Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1227608A2] The method for switching between audio services in a radio receiver switches to an audio service with the same program in dependence on determined signal parameters of the audio service. The audio services are transmitted by digital and/or analog transmission. A time offset between the transmitted services is determined and this time offset is taken into account in the switching over process. The time offset may be determined e.g. by comparing times of pauses in speech in the transmitted services or programs. Independent claims also cover a radio receiver for carrying out the process.
