Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0132448A1] The invention concerns a tyre tread designed to equip a vehicle with high load capacity running on rugged surfaces provided with a profile comprising protruding elements formed by first and second cutouts (1, 2) oriented differently. The first cutout (1) emerges into the second cutout (2) without passing right through to form a T-shaped connection zone. One of the walls (22) of the second cutout (2) is provided, in the connection zone, with a protuberance (6) extending substantially in a direction close to that of the first cutout (1), said protuberance (6) having on a surface parallel to the tread surface, an outline C whereof the point furthest from the second wall is at a distance at least equal to 50 % of the width L2 of the second cutout (2).
