[origin: WO0136823A1] The invention relates to an axial piston compressor for a refrigerant, in particular, for a vehicle air conditioner, comprising a body (12), in whose inner volume at least one bearing (22, 24, 26, 48, 56, 58, 60, 64) is arranged, an output line (34), for the compressed refrigerant and a lubricant, present in the inner chamber of the body (12), whereby the aim of the invention is to improve lubrication. The aim of the invention is achieved with at least one lubricant channel to supply lubricant to the bearing, a lubricant separator (36), which is connected to the output line for the refrigerant, a collecting chamber (40), for the lubricant which is separated out from the compressed refrigerant and an inlet line (42), connecting the collecting chamber with the lubricant channel (46). The lubricant alone is forced from the lubricant separator to the lubricant channel, by the pressure difference between the compression pressure of the lubricant and the inner pressure of the chamber.
