[origin: WO02056735A1] The invention relates to a bed, especially a sick bed and/or a nursing bed, consisting of a bed support (2) and a bed fitting (3) comprising a bed frame (8). Said bed frame (8) is provided with at least one lying surface element (18) which comprises a plurality of spring elastic elements (19) in the mattress side thereof. The aim of the invention is to develop one such bed in such a way that it meets the highest requirements in terms of comfort, and that soiled lying surfaces can be hygienically cleaned in a simple manner. To this end, the spring-elastic elements (19) are arranged on the lying surface element (18) in an interchangeable manner, and the lying surface element (18) itself is arranged on the bed frame (8) in an interchangeable manner.
