Abstract (en)
The thermal bridge breaker for a hollow metal frame member (13) supporting a glazed curtain walling panel (7) consists of a structural component (22) of an insulating material, integral with the frame member and situated on the outside of the glazing panel and supporting it directly. The structural component is designed to clip onto the metal frame member, and there is a supporting wedge (20) between it and the glazed panel.

Dispositif à rupture de pont thermique, adapté à être monté dans un profilé métallique tubulaire (14) formant le cadre (13) de réception d'un panneau de remplissage (7), logé dans un alvéole de réception (5) prévu dans une ossature de support d'une façade de mur rideau vertical, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un élément de structure (22) formant bouclier thermique, intégré au profilé et réalisé en un matériau isolant, cet élément de structure qui enveloppe le cadre étant disposé sur le pourtour du panneau au droit et en regard du bord extérieur périphérique de celui-ci, le panneau de remplissage (7) reposant directement sur cet élément. <IMAGE>
