[origin: EP1229404A2] Electrophotographic device has a fixer band cleaning assembly (30) with a frame that is connected to a telescopic bar (42) via a toothed connection so that it rotates about the bar that is held in the housing (25) of the cleaning assembly, so that the cleaning assembly can be pulled out of the housing and into a maintenance position in which it can be detachably locked while cleaner rollers (32, 34) are taken out of the band cleaning and assembly and replaced. An Independent claim is made for a Method for maintaining cleaner rollers (32, 34) in a fixer band cleaning assembly for an electrophotographic printing device.
