Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0135780A1] The invention relates to a winter sports shoe (11) and a winter sports shoe/ski combination. The winter sports shoe is characterized in that the front part (29) of the outer shoe (13) is largely decoupled with a modest exertion of force from the rear part of the outer shoe (13) by means of a flexible transitional area provided in the metatarsal area (19) so that when engaging in sport or when walking, the front part (29) is permitted, in the area of the ball of the foot, to pivot around or slide off on an axis (32) that is transversal to the longitudinal extension of the shoe (11). In addition, the outer shoe leg (21) and the lateral walls (25a, 25b) extending up to the transitional area are constructed such that they are essentially inflexible so that a force can be exerted via the outer shoe leg (21) onto the metatarsal area (19) of the sole (17).
