Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0130690A2] The aim of the invention is to produce nanotubes consisting of transition metal oxides by using a template. Layers of TOx are expanded by means of a template, whereby the TOx is the precursor. The expanded layers are hydrothermally converted. The layers are expanded by depositing a template. The method enables to produce the nanotubes in a much more cost-effective manner. The precursor is preferably V2o5.
