Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0127546A1] The invention relates to a device for burning gases, especially gases of shaft kilns for casting minerals. The inventive device comprises at least one combustion furnace. Gases of the shaft kiln are supplied to the combustion furnace which is provided with an auxiliary burner. An additional fuel source and a combustion air source are connected to said burner. The system of the connecting pipes is provided with controlling valves and fittings that are driven by variable speed drives. The combustion chamber (1) consists of a stabilising stage (101) and a reaction stage (102). A mixing chamber (2) that is mounted around the auxiliary burner (3) is embodied at the inlet of the stabilising stage (101). A distributor (13) of the secondary air is mounted on the outlet of the stabilising stage (101). The reaction stage (102) is provided with a temperature probe (21) that is connected to a controlling system (22).
