Abstract (en)
[origin: DE10106360C1] The control method uses a microprocessor (15) for controlling a pump motor (12) for a hydraulic pump (5) supplying the drive cylinder of the electro-hydraulic handtool, with detection of the pump motor current and the current drop after opening an over-pressure valve (9) inserted in the hydraulic fluid return flow path. The pump motor current is disconnected after the motor current drops below a stored current value, via a load switch (14). An Independent claim for an automatic control device for an electro-hydraulic handtool is also included.
