[origin: DE10106363C1] The pressing head has double-armed lever tongs (2,3) with pressure members (17, 18) mounted by two oppositely acting mirror symmetrical parallelogram rod units with articulation axes (11, 12, 15, 16) on a holding device (6) and on the levers (2,3) whereby the articulation axes lie on each side of the centre plane at the corners of two virtual parallelograms (P1,P2) to form the parallelogram rod units. The pressure members can have work faces or socket elements for positive insertion of pressing members with work faces.
