[origin: US2002105137A1] A device is used to insert and/or deposit printed products into a conveying channel. The printed products are conveyed in the conveying channel with of carriers of a conveying element. An acceleration apparatus pre-accelerates the printed products in conveying direction. The acceleration apparatus conveys the printed products essentially in a straight line and at an angle to the conveying direction of the conveying channel. The printed products are preferably inserted with the aid of conveying belts and at an angle into the conveying channel. As a result of the slanted feed, the divisions of the conveying element can be optimized and the capacity increased.

Die Vorrichtung dient zum Einlegen, Einstecken und/oder Auflegen von Druckprodukten (5) in einen Förderkanal (25), in dem die Druckprodukte (5) mit Mitnehmern (29) eines Förderorgans (28) transportiert werden. Die Mittel (19, 20; 40) dienen zum Vorbeschleunigen der Druckprodukte (5) in der Transportrichtung des Förderkanals (25). Sie (19, 20; 40) fördern die Druckprodukte (5) jeweils im wesentlichen linear und schräg zur Transportrichtung des Förderkanals (25). Vorzugsweise werden die Druckprodukte (5) mittels Förderbändern (19, 20; 40) in den Förderkanal (25) schräg eingeführt. Durch das schräge Zuführen kann die Teilung des Förderorgans (28) optimiert und damit die Leistung erhöht werden. <IMAGE>
