[origin: EP1231323A2] Ballast-free track for a rail vehicle comprises two rails (1) with a rail head (17) for rail wheels (18) of rolling stock, especially flat bottom rails, which are removably connected to a support, especially a support plate (2) lying over a rubber elastic layer (15) on a sub base (3). Guide bodies (7) for rail wheels are arranged a distance apart alongside the two rails. The normal distance (d) between the normal projections of the guide bodies and the rail heads on a track plane (G) is greater than the width (b) of the rail wheels. The normal projection of the guide bodies preferably lies outside the regions between the rail and a removable rail fixing (12).
