Connector (1) made of plastic for connecting hollow spacer profiles (A, B) having perforation holes comprises a flat long body (2) having a T-shaped cross-section whose transverse bar is provided on its surface with at least one narrow longitudinal rib arranged so that in the assembled state it engages with the edges of the perforation holes. Preferred Features: Two parallel longitudinal ribs arranged a distance apart comprise flexible lamellae (11, 12) pointing away from the longitudinal axis (D) of the long body at an angle to the longitudinal direction of the connector and facing toward the middle of the length of the body.

Steckverbinder aus Kunststoff zur Verbindung von hohlen Abstandsprofilen (A,B) kleineren Querschnitts für Mehrscheibenisoliergläser mit ausgestanzten Perforationslöchern in dem dem Scheibenzwischenraum zugewandten Quersteg der Abstandsprofile. Um die Biegefestigkeit des Steckverbinders bei relativ kleinem Querschnitt des zugehörigen Abstandsprofils zu verbessern sowie das nachträgliche Entstehen eines Spaltes zwischen den Stirnseiten der miteinander verbundenen Abstandsprofile zu vermeiden wird vorgeschlagen, daß der längliche Körper (2) einen T-förmigen Querschnitt aufweist, dessen Quersteg (3) auf seiner Oberseite (5) mit wenigstens einer schmalen Längsrippe (6,7) versehen ist, die so angeordnet ist, daß sie im Einbauzustand des Steckverbinders (1) mit den Rändern der Perforationslöcher (8) in Eingriff steht. <IMAGE>
