Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1233121A2] The hand tool to spread a paste mass over a floor, e.g. an adhesive or cement, has a reservoir (1) for the mass contained within a rectangular zone (8) formed by four walls (2-5). The longer longitudinal walls (2,3) are angled outwards, so that the reservoir zone has an increased downwards cross section surface area against the floor. The shorter walls (4,5) are vertical and at right angles to the floor, and can be pushed vertically over a stretch against the longer side walls to set the thickness of the spread mass over the floor.
