Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1234619A2] Device for treating a metal strip or sheet (4) comprises treatment units (1, 2, 3) joined together via coupling units (11, 12) to enable the metal strip to continuously pass through. The treatment units are arranged so that they can be operated independently with a separated strip passage. An Independent claim is also included for a process for treating a metal strip or sheet using the above device. Preferred Features: The treatment units are arranged parallel to each other and have devices for conveying the strip from one unit to another unit so that a meandering strip flow is produced.
