[origin: EP1234621A1] Process for rolling profiled rolling material comprises using a grooved roll which can be axially moved and consisting of a lower roll (UKW) which is pushed against the bearing surface of the upper roll (OKW). The stopping positions, length of movement and the calculated central positions are stored, and the course of the spring constant of the roll stand is calculated from these values and stored.
